Operation Wander Paws mission is to rehab and repurpose used motorhomes and RV travel trailers into a modern living space on wheels. All of the proceeds from our efforts goes directly to Lucky Paws Animal Assistance, Inc. a 501(c)3 non profit organizations that helps animals in need. Therefore, your donation is 100% tax deductible. We also are aware that it is much more difficult for families to find housing with pets. OWP will select at least one unit a year to donate to a family with pets, in need of a home!!
All of the units will get completely inspected by our team. We inspect the roof for water damage, repair if need be. We also inspect the structure, electric, pluming and condition of roof membrane. Once the structure is secure then it goes into the demolition/redesign phase. We repurpose what we can to reduce landfill waste, fit or build furniture that will have plenty of storage and we keep in mind your four-legged friend!
We received a message from a friend, Krystina Gorman Fitness & Dogs, asking if we had any trailers available for a friend of hers in need.
Eileen is a good friend of hers who adopted a past foster dog of Krystina’s, Stella girl, from Gloucester County Animal Shelter and NEEDED OUR HELP. She is in a tough situation being given very little time to move out. 😢 She is a forever person for Stella, so if there was anyway to help, PLEASE!!
We quickly sprang into action figuring out what we had available. In just a little over a day we had trailer lined up that would be donated to her 🎉She was able to pick it up the following afternoon and start her new chapter with Stella💜 We also wrote her a check to fix a few small repairs that we didn’t have time to get done under the circumstances. She can immediately begin working on getting her new home prepared to move in on her time and we are here for her if she has any questions.
It’s unbelievable what the power of kindness and rescue can do and the connections it can make ❤️
Thank you Krystina for reaching out! You truly made a change!
BEST OF LUCK EILEEN AND STELLA!! We hope to see you soon with all good things ahead 🐾🏠
We are beyond excited to finally release our next rv renovation! This time we had a request by a very special rescue partner, Karen Lasasso, to create a vet clinic for their vet in GA. We started this reno in November 2021, had some major life changes that delayed our progress earlier this year and finally are here to release today in GA 🎉 This unit was a complete overhaul. You may remember us sending an rv out to PA after some very damaging storms last year? Well this is that very same trailer. It had many soft spots in the floor but it was able to provided office space for Horsham vet for a short period of time while they rebuilt their facility. After it was returned, we started into the reno by completely replacing the roof studs, plywood and rubber membrane. Then on to the inside by repairing any soft spots in the floor and worked our way up from there by replacing some interior walls as well. Kitchen and 90% of bedroom cabinets were removed, shower was removed and a closet on the other side of the wall was built for storage, counter tops replaced, toilet replaced with porcelain commode, all lights replaced with rv LED’s, painted and new flooring. While we were busy with repairs our rescue partner was collecting the vet equipment needed like stainless steel crates, wet table, surgical table and hand wash station. Thank you to Saved Me for donating the two OR lights 2 years ago. We held on to them and they are going to good use now. Then came our favorite part, decorating and delivery!! It may have taken a bit longer than we anticipated but seeing the final product and the look on our everyone’s face was priceless! A very special thank you to our rescue partner and her vet for being patient with us and my husband for his impeccable handy work, patience and believing in all my OCD requests!!

This unit is a 2010 Sportsman Classic by KZ Model 14RB. We started renovating this unit in late summer 2021. Our renovations included painting the walls and cabinets, replacing a couple cabinet doors, tiled shower, laying new flooring, fabricated new cushions and covers, installed new curtains, installed new counter top and table, replaced sink and faucets and installed new shower head and faucet. We inspected roof, resealed and resealed all corners of unit. All walls, lines and appliances have been check and cleared. This unit looks to have had no water damage at all!! Tires were manufactured in 2020.
Everything you see in the photos comes with this unit. Throw your personal belongs in it and hit the hwy for you next adventure next weekend!
A truly inspiring soul puchased this unit so she could go adventure once again with her pup! We are beyond excited for her and can't wait to see where the road will take them!

Handing Darcy McPherson the keys and title to her new home less than one week after her rv burned to the ground. She may not be able to save her memories that went up in flames but we are helping her make new ones! Thank you Karen Lasasso for reaching out to make this happen for her! This is part of our Operation Wander Paws mission🏠🐾
We had a plea to help find placement for two dogs. Their owner had fell on hard times after losing his family at the end of last year and was currently living in a tent locally. Our objective is to always help keep companion animals with their owners. This gentleman is a U.S. Navy veteran and carpenter of over 30 years. He has been able to find little side jobs so he can get back on his feet but it is difficult when you can’t leave your beloved dogs in the tent during the work day. Our mission with Operation Wander Paws was to not only help raise funds for Lucky Paws but to also help a family in need once a year who has pets. We decided to offer one of our donated RVs to Richard and his two pups, Bodine & Boots. We have had a family donate space for him and his trailer till Oct. We started a fundraiser to give Richard, Bodine and Boots momentum into their next chapter that raised over $2,300! Our goal was to give this family the best possible start to help them regain hope and positivity!!!
We where beyond thrilled to finally unveil our first official Operation Wander Paws Renovated RV in the summer of 2021!!
This unit is a 2005 Keystone Zeppelin M-271. It was donated to our program by a wonderful couple who are avid animal lovers and just lost their two dogs lastyear, Chip and Dale. We spent time with the couple the day they donated this unit and they told us how much they loved camping in the pines and how much Chip and Dale had enjoyed it too! This gave us both the idea to name this unit in their memory and give it that outdoorsy feel. Little did we know this week is the 1 year anniversary of Dale passing. We are honored to celebrate his past life with this remodel.
This unit came to us with lots of unknown water damage hidden behind cabinets. We started this renovation Thanksgiving weekend 2020. It has taken us 8 months to complete this mission between our work schedules, our Wag through the Pines Event and transports to TN.
We replaced multiple walls/flooring and wiring in the unit. Along with that large undertaking we also installed a new shower enclosure, toilet, a few different light fixtures, a couple extra outlets, wood accent walls, new sinks and faucets, primer and paint on walls and cabinets, mattress, flooring, kitchen and dining room furniture, backsplash and decor. We took our time to inspect the roof, hot water heater, tanks, lines, electrical panel, heat and ac unit, stove and microwave. We also put a new set of tires on it. It may not look like it from the outside but this unit has been completely overhauled and is ready to leave tonight for your next adventure!! Everything you see in the photos comes with this unit.
We are campers ourselves and know the struggle for dog beds and bowl space. Our goal with these renovations is always to leave plenty of space for your four-legged friends and we were able to do that here.
